Yoga Mandala and Be Well Be Here offer unique, visionary ventures we would want to attend. The one thing we all have in common is our humanity. On some level each of us participates in our own ‘hero’s journey’ to remember who we are, what we are, and where we are on this path of life. That’s what makes these ventures back home to our heart so powerful. We step outside of the habitual–our habitual environment and relationships, our habitual happenings and doings, and our habitual days and nights–into being fresh and renewed, together! Carving out time and space for yourself, for self-practice, for ritual well being is a statement of self-worth. Our ventures are always combined with the natural element as we deem nature, attention to somatic wellness through yoga, meditation and other integrative experiential practices, and sangha (connection), to be transformational tools in the realm of preventative well being and being happy.

This November 2019, Be Well Be Here and Yoga Mandala are thrilled to offer you an-out-of-this-world blend of experiential practices working with the techniques of yoga, meditation, journaling and a powerful connection with horses to explore the path to the center of your well-being. Lara Wilson and Nicole Grant of Be Well Be Here collaborate with Barbara Alexander to create a 5-day program that brings you home to your self, hosted in the natural serenity of OM Sanctuary, a beautiful 54-acre mountain holistic center in Asheville, North Carolina.

Together we will work with the breath as a fundamental tool for assessing and befriending body, psyche and soul. Our combined experiential integration practices encourage you to intuitively tap into your authenticity and inspire well-being as we explore together the tried-and-true wisdom of yoga and meditation. Barbara Alexander, a facilitator, healer, and teacher who worked in the corporate arena for almost twenty years, specializes in leadership development; with over 15 years of research and training in the emergent field of equine experiential learning, Barbara’s renowned and innovative programming is a perfect complement this personal or professional journey to being well.

Awaken to your natural way of being, befriend yourself, celebrate human connection, and harmonize heart, body and mind. Join us this November in the heart of North Carolina’s natural beauty on this Breathe, Befriend, Be You venture!



Includes: Accommodations (with optional arrival day Tuesday Nov 5 and/or optional departure day Monday Nov 11 (Veteran’s Day) to be arranged directly with OM Sanctuary at additional cost); 4-5 daily integrative experiential practices; all meals including teatime, starting with dinner on night 1 finishing with lunch on day 5; pick-up / drop-off OM Sanctuary-equine experiential learning farm.  Does not include the cost of flights/travel.

  • 9:15-10:30 a Session I: Yoga Practice (except day 3 – offsite: Equine Experiential Learning 9:30 a- 5:30 p)
  • 10:30-11:45 a Session II: Journaling (except day 3 – offsite: Equine Experiential Learning 9:30 a -5:30 p)
  • 12 – 1 p Lunch
  • 1:30 – 6:00 p Intro to Equine Experiential Learning (offsite – days 2 & 3) / Yoga & Meditation and Wisdom Talk (day 4)

Sunday November 10 – Day 5 – Transitioning
